Welcome to Ramsgate RSL Soccer Club
Ramsgate RSL Soccer Club (established 1959) welcomes boys and girls, men and women from ages U6 to All Age to join our progressive, exciting and friendly club. Ramsgate RSL Soccer Club aims to provide the best possible environment for the development of individual skills and team capabilities whilst promoting enjoyment through participation and achievement.
Ramsgate RSL Soccer Club won the St George Football Association 'Fair Play' award for 2010/11.
At Ramsgate RSL Soccer Club:

- Players are selected to ensure competitive and well balanced teams
- Coaches encourage involvement, improvement and fair play, including respect for referees
- Above all, we want players and coaches, parents and spectators to have fun and enjoy the game
Season 2012 competition draw
The season for 2012 has commenced and the club hopes that all has gone well. Go to the draw page and click on your team to be taken to the draw. The team lists are still on the website if you are interested.
Unofficial referees
All coaches/managers need to keep a copy of the unofficial referee form with them at every game, as we do not have the canteen to keep copies at home games. The form can be downloaded here and has to be filled out by non-official referees if players are sent off.
Trivia night
The social event that you have all been waiting for is returning. Mark your calendar for 28 July, 7.00pm at the Francis Drake Bowling Club. More details will follow in the near future.
Photos
The club has decided to create a year book of pictures to provide an annual record of teams and scenes depicting home venues, training and match day as well as any interesting event associated with the soccer club.
The club invites you all to get snapping and send your photos in via email to Sean Turner. The best photos will be selected to appear in the 'year book' and may also be used on Presentation Day. REMEMBER...please get appropriate approval before taking pictures.
Club Meeting
The Club's next official meeting for the season will be 7.00pm, Thursday 24 May at the RSL Club (Kokoda Room).
Net duty
Teams are required to set up and pack up the nets each week. This will be done on a roster. When teams pack up, they only need to pack up the field that they have been playing on. The bins also need to be packed away, but will need to be emptied in the council bins first. Teams will need to be at the field by 7.30am. Coffee Van at Home Games
We will have the service of Nick and his coffee van at all home games this season (on site at Scarborough Park). Although the menu may grow over time, Nick will initially provide coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold drinks and some food.

Small sided game field changes
This season, there are some important changes for the U6s and U7s playing field. If you have to deal with this age group, please read the document as it is vital that you understand the changes.
Accident Insurance
Players are encouraged to consider increasing their loss of income benefit above the standard limit of $250 per week for 52 weeks. This option is available on a per team basis. For further details contact BJS Insurance Brokers P/L on 0418 398 123.
Ramsgate RSL Club
The success of our club owes much to the kind and generous financial contributions of the Ramsgate RSL Club (since 1982). The future wellbeing and viability of the soccer club is reliant on this relationship continuing. For this reason we encourage all senior players to become a member of Ramsgate RSL Club. For junior players, membership of one parent is appreciated. Membership is only $8.80 per year. Application forms will be available at registration.
